Passionate about sports and health and also about the human body, Carlos has extensive experience working with a wide range of clients, from seniors to young professional athletes. To trust in his vast expertise in Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT®) an mechanics of exercise make him a guarantee of success.
In 2005 he started his beginnings in the study of biomechanics applied to exercise, after graduating with a B.A. In Journalism and doing an M.A. In Marketing and Publicity. His career change came out of his desire to consolidate his calling, work, and passion in one endeavor.
In 2007, Carlos stared his professional career in MAT® (MUSCLE ACTIVATION TECHINQUES) by educating himself directly in the U.S.A. to become one of the first specialists in Europe in 2009, and a pioneer in applying this technique in the European continent. Four years later, he became one of a few professionals certified with a Master in Muscle Activation Techniques in Europe. In 2017, Carlos became certified as MATRx® specialist. After four years being trained in the U.S.A directly by the creator and developer of MAT®, Greg Roskopf, Carlos obtained the most advanced certification in this technique, and became one of the few professional specialists in MATRx®.
After professionally growing and learning at work from two mentors in the field, Lucas Leal (from 2007 to 2009), and Genís Caparrós (from 2007 to 2014), Carlos decided to put all his experience and education into Gamma Bcn Activación Muscular, which he founded in May 2014.
